Vegan Cookies with Chocolate Chips

Vegan cookies - a little treat for in between meals.

Ingredients: (approx. 25 Cookies):

- 225 g wheat flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 225g sugar, brown
- 125g vegan butter, soft
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tbsp water
– 1 pinch salt
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 150 g chopped vegan chocolate

To serve:

- vegan vanilla ice cream

Vegane Cookies mit Schokostücken

Preparation:

Firstly, preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

Mix the vegan butter, bicarbonate of soda, water, vanilla extract and sugar. Then add the salt, baking powder and flour and mix together. Finally, mix the chopped chocolate into the batter.
Form approx. 25 equal-sized balls and place on a baking tray (lined with baking paper). Bake the cookies for approx. 5-7 minutes to keep them moist. Bake for 10 minutes to make them crispier.
Then remove from the oven and leave to set briefly in the air. Then place on a cooling rack.

Fresh from the oven and still warm, these cookies taste best with a vegan scoop of vanilla ice cream and the Schlagfix ready-to-spray whipped cream.
