HOW DO I USE SCHLAGFIX WHIPPING CREAM?

Basically, use Schlagfix whipped cream in the same way as conventional dairy cream. If you want to use the whipped cream whipped, it is important to always whip the whipped cream first before adding other ingredients.

For best whipping results, please store the whipping cream in the refrigerator for a few hours before use and whip the cream with a mixer on medium speed.

WHERE CAN I GET SCHLAGFIX PRODUCTS?
You can get Schlagfix products in regular supermarkets (e.g.: Kaufland, Real, Edeka, Globus, Famila, Tegut, Netto or Metro) as well as in vegan specialist and online shops (e.g.: Veganz, AVE, Veganic). It is even possible to order Schlagfix products via eBay.
WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF USING SCHLAGFIX PRODUCTS?

Purely plant-based products from Schlagfix offer you numerous advantages over the respective animal-based comparison products. You are not only doing something good for the environment and the animal world, but also for your health. Furthermore, Schlagfix products offer you numerous additional application options.

In contrast to animal-based cream, Schlagfix whipping cream can be processed with fruit acids or alcohol, for example, or frozen while whipped. It is significantly more stable than dairy cream and has a whipping volume of approx. 400% (dairy cream: 80 - 100%).

WHAT IS THE TRANS FATTY ACID CONTENT OF SCHLAGFIX PRODUCTS?

When buying products, many consumers pay attention to their proportion of hydrogenated fats, because if the fat hardening process is not complete, harmful trans fatty acids can be produced. However, it is important to note that hydrogenated fats are not the same as trans fatty acids. The decisive factor is the hardening process used and whether the fat is completely hardened.

It is therefore always advisable to look up the exact trans fat content for supposedly critical products. Schlagfix products are almost free of trans fats due to the particularly gentle curing process. Compared to their animal-based counterparts, they contain significantly less trans fats.

WHY DO SOME SCHLAGFIX PRODUCTS CONTAIN PALM KERNEL OIL?

Many people fundamentally reject the use of palm kernel oil. However, this attitude is fundamentally wrong. Palm kernel oil, which is often so controversial, can play a key role in the future conservation of natural habitats. Due to its high yield, it requires only a fraction of the cultivation area of comparable raw materials (such as soy, rapeseed, sunflower) to provide the same amount of vegetable oil. In order to feed a world population that will reach the 10 billion mark in 2050, we will have to judge our raw materials in the future primarily according to their land efficiency.

This is also the main reason why organisations such as Greenpeace now advise against replacing palm oil with other vegetable fats. The cultivation of palm oil would then consume many times more land than palm oil.

In our opinion, the solution can only be sustainable palm oil. That is why we only use sustainably certified palm kernel oil (RSPO) in our Schlagfix products and are actively committed to further improving ecological standards and control mechanisms for the sustainable cultivation of palm oil. We can already guarantee that no forests have been cleared or people displaced for the palm kernel oil used in Schlagfix products.

WHY DO SCHLAGFIX PRODUCTS CONTAIN SO-CALLED ADDITIVES?

Many consumers are bothered by the use of so-called food additives, such as those used in Schlagfix products. However, it is worth taking a closer look, because there are big differences within the group of these so-called E-substances. All additives used in Schlagfix products are, of course, GMO-free and made only from natural, plant-based raw materials.

Additives are only used in our products if there is no alternative (e.g. to bring water and vegetable fat together to form a stable mixture) and if they are completely harmless. We mainly use fat glycerides and various celluloses.
